S. M. Summers writes horror with one foot in psychology and the other firmly planted in the unexplained.

Her stories wander through cursed objects, demons, folklore, haunted places, dangerous legends, and the uncomfortable question of what might be waiting just beyond what we can explain. She is especially drawn to characters who discover too late that curiosity can be expensive.

A retired psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Parapsychology, she brings a lifelong interest in human behavior, fear, belief, and the paranormal into her fiction.

S. M. Summers lives in Costa Rica, where she writes surrounded by mountains, rain, old stories, and more than enough inspiration for things that go bump in the night.
